Elevé is ecstatic to announce the debut of our Adult Performing Company, Rêve! Rêve aims to provide a space for adult dancers to return to themselves and have a place to once again perform, move, and create at a high caliber level. Rêve is primarily focused on Contemporary movement, but we look forward to exploring other genres in our work based on the movement backgrounds brought by our company members. Whether you are looking to advance your dance performance career, or would like to return to it after many years away, we would love to move and create with you on Rêve!

Cost: $35 audition fee (includes pre-audition classes & registration)
Attire: Please dress in comfortable audition blacks (loose or fitted pants*) and bare feet.
*Long pants are recommended as floor work will be included in audition material.
*Ballet shoes may be optionally worn for the barre portion of the audition.
AUDITIONS
PRE-AUDITION COMPANY CLASSES
There will be pre-audition classes held on October 6th, 13th, & 20th from 8:15-9:15pm leading up to the audition. Attendance at our pre-audition classes is strongly encouraged as it will prepare dancers for the audition material, but is not required.
The $35 audition fee covers attendance at all three pre-audition classes, in addition to registration for the audition. *The audition fee is mandatory for all auditioning dancers regardless of attendance at the pre-audition classes.
Pre-Audition classes may also be attended on a drop in basis for $10 per class for any dancers in the community that would like to join, but cannot commit to auditioning. Dancers that would similarly like to attend the audition class without an audition number may do so for a $12 drop in fee.
*Registration and attendance at auditions is viewed as a commitment to participating on Rêve should you make the company. Please ensure you are able to commit to rehearsals and performances before registering to audition.
COMPANY COMMITMENT
Company Rehearsals will take place on Tuesday Evenings from 8:15-9:30pm from Nov 3rd, 2026 - May 18th, 2027. Attendance at these rehearsals is mandatory for participation in Rêve, outside of previously scheduled absences or serious injury/illness or emergency. Once auditions are completed and pieces have been cast, company members will be provided with a more detailed rehearsal schedule.
All company members will be cast in our group company piece which will rehearse during our regular Tuesday Evening rehearsal time. Participation in additional pieces is optional, and will be dependent on casting needs and dancer availability.
*Rehearsals for additional pieces may be scheduled outside of our Tuesday evening company time. These pieces will be cast and scheduled based on dancer’s availability, and are not required for participation in Rêve.
REHEARSALS
Rêve will be performing in Elevé’s end of year performance which takes place May 20-22. Rêve company members must commit to being available for all rehearsal and performance needs on those dates. Exact times TBD. We are also interested in exploring other performance opportunities for this season including adjudication festivals, local community events, etc. Participation in additional events and performances outside of our end of year show will be based on dancer availability, and is not required for participation in the company as a whole.

IMPORTANT DATES
In lieu of our traditional monthly tuition structure and performance fees, we have opted to keep costs low for our Rêve company members. Please see a comprehensive breakdown of what you can expect below:
Fees: $35 one time audition fee
Costumes: Dancers will be asked to cover the cost to purchase or rent their individual costumes. Costume rental from the studio is $40 per costume, or company members can choose to purchase and keep their costumes at cost ($40-$70 estimate).
*No additional tuition or performance fees will be charged to company members for the 2026-2027 Season.

Because we will be jumping into choreography, we will likely not take additional company members after auditions.

Yes, at least 4+ years of technical dance training is expected of all Rêve company members.

There is only one performance currently scheduled for this year. We are, however, looking for other performance opportunities. We will announce those as they are scheduled.

Company members are expected to be at rehearsal from 8:15 - 9:30 each Tuesday.
Any additional pieces will be scheduled according to availability but may be on other days.

Company members are expected to pay a $35 audition fee and for the rental/purchase of their costume, $40 - $70. There will be no other fees expected during the 2026-2027 session.

Please avoid showing midriff and avoid clothing that has zippers or buttons, as those damage our floor and equipment.
